Returns & Exchanges
How do I return or exchange an item?
We want you to be as happy as possible with the items you have purchased from Cissy Wears and we are usually completely happy to accept returns and exchanges, but please understand we are a small business and have to have certain terms and conditions in place in order to protect ourselves against financial loss. Therefore please read the following carefully:
If you wish to exchange an item we recommend you contact us on email@example.com as soon as possible to check whether the item you require is in stock. We will then hold this for you for 7 days so please ensure your item is returned by then. You will need to return the items you wish to exchange to us (see below). If we do not have the exchange item available you will be credited for your returned items via your original method of payment once they arrive back to us.
UNSOLICITED RETURNS WITHOUT A COMPLETED RETURNS FORM WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Any request for a return must be made within 7 days of receipt, and returns must be received within 7 days of receipt of returns form (for UK returns, exceptions can be made for international).
Please package up the goods you are returning safely, together with the returns form and send to Returns, Cissy Wears, 210 Hither Green Lane, London SE13 6RT.
All items must be unworn and in their original packaging with all labels attached.
Please note we can not refund products that have been used, worn, damaged or altered in any way, which includes creasing of prints and posters (polite notice: we will never ship damaged prints or posters so please take extra care when removing them from the tube not to damage them yourself). We cannot return or exchange earrings due to hygiene reasons.
Refunds are not accepted on sale items unless faulty. You may exchange these items for alternative items. This does not apply items bought with promotional discount codes.
We reserve the right to refuse returns of items when they do not meet the conditions set out above.
Please note that we are not responsible for return postage so we recommend that you obtain proof of postage or for high value items, we would also advise that you use registered post (not special delivery). We will not grant a refund or exchange on any product that fails to reach us. Original and return postage is non-refundable unless incorrect item was sent in error, in which case we will refund return postage if you email a copy of your receipt to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will process your refund within 10 days of receiving your parcel. You will be credited for your returned items via your original method of payment.
IF AN ORDER IS RETURNED TO US BECAUSE YOU REFUSE TO ACCEPT THE PACKAGE DUE TO CUSTOMS CHARGES YOU WILL BE LIABLE FOR 50% OF YOUR ORDER VALUE PLUS ALL ASSOCIATED SHIPPING CHARGES.
If an order is returned to us because it was not collected from the carriers sorting facility after they attempted to deliver and left notification, you will be liable for the shipping fee. We may ask you to pay an additional shipping fee to have the item resent.
